The afternoon sun streamed through the kitchen window, bathing the room in a golden glow. John leaned against the counter, savoring the last of his afternoon snack. A sense of calm settled over him, something he hadn’t felt in a while. The attic was still untouched, a silent space waiting to be explored.

He felt no pressure to rush as he climbed the stairs. The attic was a dusty, forgotten realm. He drifted towards a shadowed corner where a large, wooden chest sat. With a sigh of anticipation, he opened the chest.
